Built in 1974, the Savannah Civic Center is home to Savannah’s Spirits and the Savannah Bees (the Continental Basketball Association’s basketball teams). The Savannah Civic Center is a nine thousand six hundred seat multi-purpose stadium that sits on the beautiful Montgomery Street in Savannah Georgia. It features two venues: The Martin Luther King Arena which seats three thousand to nine thousand people depending on the event and the Johnny Mercer Theatre which seats over two thousand five hundred people. With large royal arches, a Grand Ballroom fit for a king, and live action, there is never a boring moment at the Savannah Civic Center.
